This is the very picturesque view outside of my bedroom window. Kind of makes me want to crawl back into bed and hibernate.
I'm beginning to doubt the magical prediction powers of
Punxsutawney Phil. In New York, we have our our own Staten Island Chuck, but maybe both groundhogs are not dependable. US legend has it that if on Groundhog day, (early February), the groundhog sees his shadow, then then we get six more weeks of winter. This year, local Staten Island Chuck and Punxsutawney Phil did not see their shadows. It's been six weeks, stupid rodents. Eff you!
Yesterday, I was walking in Midtown Manhattan on the hunt for the new Spring Palettes from Wet n Wild. Did not find them either. It was snowing and gloomy and I came home empty handed. I just need the snow to go away and be Spring already. BAH!
